copy paste on mac blows

Thinking of a song to the tune of “kharma chameleon” like:

Copy, copy, copy, copy, copy and paste ;
It comes and goes, it comes and goes.
Thought it would be easy to copy paste on mac in my dreams,
I use words obscene, I rant and scream.

what your parents never told you about planet ass

A while back (June of 2010), I had some fun writing a little screensaver for my mac. I was really surprised how easy it was versus other platforms I’d tried before (windows and linux).

Writing a program that will run as a screensaver is really operating system specific and it was cool the mac was so ez!

My original effort was pretty lame, but got the plumbing and the openGL and I always meant to get back to it.

The other day, I wrote a small shell script around my old project which would use it as a template to create a new screensaver:

$ ./new_mac_screen_saver.sh PlanetAss

This is how Planet Ass was born!

It’s checked into github if you want to fool with it

I put up a build of it, but dunno exactly where it can run… I works on my 10.6.8 intel guy…

It’s there is you wanna fiddle with it / use it! Have fun!

quick low carb breakfast cake recipe

Here is a recipe for a low carb breakfast cake:

    wet ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons flax seed
    dry ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons erythritol
  • 1 teaspoon stevia
  • 4 drop sucralose syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Mix wet ingredients in a “cereal” bowl, mix in dry ingredients, microwave 4 minutes, then microwave 2 more minutes.

Top with another tablespoon of peanut butter.

Measurements are approximate.

Want a savory version instead?

Cut the stevia, sucralose and erythritol in half add another tablespoon of flax seed, cook it in 8×8 pyrex dish for 6+3 minutes to make a flat bread instead of a cake.

Low carb sandwiches!

Here is where I got some of this stuff:

Don’t remember where I got the microwave from… 😛

flax seed crackers

Plagiarized from this

1 cup flax seed meal
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water

1) mix it all together
2) spray a 9×13 glass pan
3) spatula it in and smooth it out
4) score it into squares
5) bake at 400 f for 15-20 (18) minutes
6) let cool
7) bust ’em out into ziplox

Often the ones in the middle crumble, but they are still tasty.

Use the broken one’s like croutons.

If they aren’t crispy enuff, it is cuz u suk @ baking.

j/k… you can turn off the oven and leave them in a few minutes.

They also seem to get crispier after a few days in a seal ziploxesses..
